PITCH
Alice is a young caregiver in her twenties who works in a zoo. In this teeming, burlesque microcosm, she feels out of step with the world around her and identifies more with the animals than with the other humans. Especially with a little runaway penguin she suspects of being able to fly away. One evening, she finds herself locked up after closing time and meets Luna, an activist who has broken into the zoo to act against animal captivity.

Filming took place in February 2022 in the Mont Mosan zoo in Huy and in the university aquarium in Liège.
The film was selected at the Festival des Enfants Terribles for its premiere in Belgium and won the Jury Prize at the Polyfilm Festival in Paris in June 2023.

Isabelle is a bourgeois ophthalmologist who lives alone with Eliot, her chubby spaniel. She is bored with life and her solitude makes going through her mid-life crisis even more acute. Her dog starts pissing on the expensive Art Deco radiator she just bought from an antique dealer, and that is the last straw. She decides to call in Bernard, a geobiologist, to rid her house of its negative energy. She has no idea how this encounter will change her perspective on life.

Production
Filming took place in October 2018 near Tournai, in the Belgian countryside. This film comes from an opportunity given to us by INSAS in our second year, to do a completely free project. We therefore had very little means but also little time. In total, the shoot lasted two days and the budget amounted to 0 euros! So we improvised with the means at hand, and that's what gives this slightly clumsy aspect that I like so much in this film. Sometimes it's the clumsiest things that are the most honest.
